Healing In the Heartland, March 16, 2024

ree

As we get ever closer to the Election in November, many of us find ourselves distressed by angry and hurtful rhetoric and actions that pummel us via social networks, the media, and the news. The attempts to divide us, to encourage a culture of grievance and hatred seem to continually batter our hearts and our sacred pledge as citizens to strengthen our common life together.

We have a choice. We can love those with whom we disagree, and remember our common kinship as people of faith and as faithful citizens serving the common good.

We need a revival of our commitment to each other and to God.

Join members all across the diocese for the special day of revival and communication across differences on March 16 from 10am to 4 pm at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Creve Coeur. We will engage with a panel of nationally renowned clergy who seek to encourage unity over division in our encounters with each other.

The cost is $20 per person, but St. Martin’s will pay the entrance fee for anyone who lets us know you would like to attend.
