Praying for Our Nation, January 6, 2021

On January 6, 2020, at 4 pm, we prayed the Great Litany for our nation, in response to calls for prayer from our Presiding Bishop. This prayer, the first prayer assembled by Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Cranmer for the first Book of Common Prayer, was written when his nation suffered under a host of crisis, including political and religious unrest as well as pandemic, much as our country faces today. Please feel free to pray with us. The Great Litany can be found in the Book of Common Prayer on p. 148.
