Camp Firebird Campers (Entering Grades 2-10) - $475

Welcome to Camp Firebird Camper Registration (previously known as Camp Phoenix) 2025! Camp Firebird is the official summer camp for the Diocese of Missouri. DioMO has been providing outdoor camp experiences for children and youth for over a century. We love prioritizing the faith and growth of young people in beautiful outdoor spaces, which are safe, affirming, fun, and like a retreat from normal life. Please follow the instructions here to ensure your camper/s has a space at Camp Firebird - spots are limited! If you have any questions, please contact us at mocampfirebird@gmail.com.

Camp Firebird Apprentice Track (Entering Grades 11-12) - $300

This year, Camp will bring back an old tradition of having older teens prepare for being camp counselors. Historically, this program has been the “CIT” program (Counselors in Training), and now it will be called the Apprentice Track. Apprentices work alongside the experts, learning and participating in the work and using their gifts and skills. Apprentices will register for camp as a camper, but will pay $300 instead of a full camper fee. Apprentices are ages 16-18 years old, going into Junior or Senior year of high school. Those who are in that age range are welcome only to register as an Apprentice, not as a Camper. Previously, there has been a mandatory break for campers between being a camper and being an Apprentice/CIT, but we are not enforcing that this year. Not everyone will want to be an Apprentice, but we are going to help to train and form those who are interested in leadership, to be our future Camp Firebird Counselors in the Apprentice program.
