In Memoriam: Russell Paul Sternberg, Sr.

Beloved Members of St. Martin's,

Our beloved and long-time parishioner Russ Sternberg died late Sunday evening after a long battle with cancer, fortified with the sacraments of the Church. He was comforted by the attendance of his family, his clergy, and so many friends from St. Martin's who reached out to him and visited him in his last several weeks.

The arrangements for the service of Burial and celebration of Russ's life are as follows:

Funeral service at St. Martin's Episcopal Church

Friday, March 28 at 3 pm

15764 Clayton Road

Ellisville, MO 63011

Interment in St. Martin's Chapel Columbarium

Reception in Park Hall following the conclusion of the service.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you would like to serve as an usher, greeter, reader, or Eucharistic minister.

Into your hands, O merciful Savior,

we commend your servant, Russell.

Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you,

a sheep of  your own fold,

a lamb of your own flock,

a sinner of your own redeeming.

Receive him into the arms of your mercy,

into the blessed rest of everlasting peace,

and into the glorious company of the saints in light.

May his soul and the souls of all the departed,

through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
