Funeral arrangements for Richard Hebenstreit

Beloved Members of St. Martin’s,

You are invited to remember and celebrate the life of Richard “Rich” Hebenstreit, our devoted parishioner, friend, and founding member of St. Martin’s parish. Rich passed away on January 4, 2022 after several years of declining health. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Honor Hebenstreit; his four children, Rick, David, Laura, and Ann; as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The service of burial and interment will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 am at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. Memorials in Rich’s honor may be directed to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church 15764 Clayton Road Ellisville, MO 63011 or to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741 We seem to give them back to you, O God, who first gave them to us. Yet as you did not lose them in giving, so we do not lose them by their return. Not as the world gives do you give. What you give you do not take away. For what is Yours is also ours. We are yours and life is eternal. And love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is but a limit of our sight. ---The Venerable Bede (673-735 CE)
