Autumn Book Study begins October 4

Join us for an Autumn Book Study starting October 4 at 6:30pm in the library.

Join us for an October Book Study on C. S. Lewis's masterpiece, A Grief Observed, written from his journals after the death of his beloved wife. Long known as a popularizer and explainer of Christian themes, Lewis honestly admits all the private emotions and reactions he experienced in his grief, so much so that he originally published this small book under a pen name.

We will be using the special Readers' Edition published by Faber & Faber in 2015, which includes responses from a variety of authors, including Hilary Mantel and Rowan Williams.

We will meet at 6:30 pm in the library on the first three Tuesdays of the month- October 4, October 11, October 18, and we will also broadcast our meetings on ZOOM.

Please contact Mother Leslie so that we may have enough books on hand to distribute them at the end of September. Please also let her know if you will be joining by ZOOM so that she may email you the information.
