Join us in person at 11:45 after our 10:30 Eucharist for Adult Forum! Asthis is the 4th Sunday of September our first topic will be "Treasures of the Anglican Tradition."
We will start out this morning logically by unpacking our topic title.
What does "Anglican" even mean?
What are the hallmarks of that "tradition?" What makes the Episcopal Church, as part of global Anglicanism," unique within American Christianity?
Where can we go to discover what Episcopalians believe and how they live out their faith in their lives?
What is "the Book of Common Prayer?"
Your questions and insights will guide the discussion, as always.
We will talk and share about the role of scripture, prayer, reason, and tradition in our spiritual lives, and begin an acquaintance with the often overlooked pages within the Book of Common Prayer.
