What is Episcopal City Mission (ECM)?
ECM provides hope and healing for children
ages 11 to 18 in the Juvenile Justice System in St. Louis, primarily through our chaplains who represent the compassionate face of a loving God by:
Being a caring, non-anxious presence to children in trouble
Listening, spiritual guidance, Sunday worship
Offering life-changing programs like “Put the Gunz Down” to curb gun violence, as well as community -based grief/loss groups
Facilitating special events: faith-based Hip Hop concerts, monthly birthday parties, holiday gifts
Distributing Bibles, books, journals, games, etc.
