Encountering the Risen Christ Together

Youth Ministries isn’t just another activity to add to your busy life, but a shared faith journey. It’s where we take the time to encounter Christ in the world around us and see how we’re being called to live out our faith.

Our Mission:

• Be a welcoming & accepting presence -a sanctuary- for teens & their families
• Imagine & practice being a supportive Christian community
• Grow deeper in our faith & share our faith stories
• Be a shared ministry for, to & of teens
• Have fun!

So how do we do this?

• First & foremost, we commit to being present in our teens lives. We get to know each other & reflect on how God is working through our lives
• We meet regularly on Sunday evenings to share a meal, play games, worship & have small-group discussion
• We learn regularly on Sunday morning classes that study our faith traditions & the Bible
• We have fun together by just hanging out, going bowling, watching movies, etc.
• We spend concentrated time together on retreats & lock-ins for spiritual growth and fun
• We worship together. Our teens play active roles in weekly worship
• We serve others through community service projects like Circle of Concern and the Peace Meal

There’s no one way to be involved in Youth Ministries. No matter how much you participate, the Holy Spirit is at work. We’re here to help make the faith connections in our joys, struggles & everyday life.
