Book Club
Contact: Ruby Downs
Book Club members choose the books they read and the leader for each monthly discussion rotates among members who volunteer. Membership is open to any parishioner and newcomers are always welcome. Book titles are published in Messages and the Sunday bulletin, so obtain a copy of the book and come join the discussion! Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of each month; 7-8:30 p.m. in Packwood Library.

Coffee Hour
Contact: Bob & Mary Jane McElroy
Coffee, juice, donuts and other treats are provided between services (9 – 10 a.m.) and again following the 10:15 service in Park Hall every Sunday morning. It’s a wonderful opportunity to visit with friends, meet visitors and enjoy fellowship.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

We are a welcoming, vibrant sisterhood of all ages. Our Episcopal Church Women are dedicated to growing together through fellowship, as a spiritual and service-oriented community. We aspire to allow God’s love to shine through us as we share our gifts.

All women of St. Martin’s are members of ECW and are welcome to attend any functions or meetings. Our ministry recognizes the importance of providing a balanced approach for the group, blending the needs of business and outreach programs (like United Thank Offering and rebuilding in Haiti) with social and fellowship activities and events to provide a service to the church.

ECW meets monthly, with other fellowship activities planned throughout the year for the women of St. Martin’s as well as parish-wide events.

Hospitality Committee
Contact: Leanne Lyle
The mission of this ministry is to promote an increased sense of community, friendship, fellowship and spirituality by facilitating special events for St. Martin’s as well as (by request) the general public. These events will include but are not limited to: receptions, celebrations and parish social functions. The committee helps to manage the resources of the kitchen and Park Hall by purchasing and caring for the necessary equipment to run large or small dinners and receptions, etc. We also sponsor an annual Trivia Game Night to help us purchase/replace necessary items. The Hospitality Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Legacy Fund Committee
Contact: Beverly W. Kinkade
The purpose of this ministry is to oversee an endowment fund to serve the members of St. Martin’s by helping establish long-term financial security for the church, for ourselves, our children and parishioners yet to come. The Fund’s goal is to provide an annual income stream from the interest on the endowment to augment our varied ministries and innovative projects beyond what might be accomplished within our yearly operating income.

Lunch Bunch / Retirees
Contact: Mary Pomeroy
Enjoy friendships with fellow retirees and visit some of the great places the St. Louis area has to offer. This group meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. in Park Hall to plan their next “field trip.”

Mary and Martha Guild
Contact: Phyllis Duff or Anne Gravatte
The Mary and Martha Guild is open to ladies 55 and older. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. We provide opportunities for ladies to share life experiences and continue to be an active part of the St. Martin’s family.

Men’s Group
Contact: Bill Gamlin or Jim McLaughlin
The Men’s Group supports St. Martin’s Church and the community. We meet the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. for breakfast. Sometimes there is a speaker, sometimes it’s just breakfast and fellowship. We also host parish-wide dinners throughout the year and golf outings.

Stewardship Committee
Contact: Jeff Klieve
The Stewardship Committee provides leadership to the congregation in the giving of time, talent and treasure. The committee is in charge of year-round stewardship activities, including the Ministry Fair and the Fall Giving Campaign. We strive to educate the parish about the true meaning of stewardship, as a method of expressing our gratitude for all of God’s gifts. The Stewardship Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
