Thursday, May 20, at 7:00 pm, Episcopal Church women will meet to plan the summer / fall events and service work.

Come and share your ideas, your talents, and your sisterhood. After all, we are the EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN.

The 2010 St. Martin's Ministries Fair

Dozens showed up Sunday, April 25 to show off the opportunities for ministry at St. Martin’s. Representatives from 21 different parish and diocesan ministries set up booths, offered snacks and talked about the opportunities to participate in the life the parish and the ministry to the community.

Ministries that were represented were: Tintinnabulation; Lunch Bunch; Altar Guild; The Prayer Chain; Stephen Ministry; Eucharistic Visitors; Christian Formation; the Community Garden; the Millennium Development Goals committee; Outreach; Episcopal City Mission; Episcopal Church Women; Hospitality Committee; Mary & Martha; Worship Committee; Healing Ministry; Men’s Group; Book Club; Camp Phoenix; the diocesan cathedral bookstore; and the Building Committee.

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church Women is again sponsoring a Mother’s Day Children’s Toy and Clothing Donation Drive on May 8 and 9 .

The 2009 drive was a huge success. We delivered a large truckload of gently used items to Women’s Another Chance. ECW knows that the generous St. Martin’s parishioners will make the 2010 Mother’s Day Children’s Toy and Clothing Drive another successful donation day.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW) meets on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 7:00 pm. Topics to be discussed are: reinstituting the United Thank Offering (UTO) Ingathering and re-establishing the Young Mothers Group/Book Club.

All women of  St. Martin’s are encouraged to attend.
