Episcopal Church Women will host the annual Cookie and Gift Exchange Luncheon at St. Martin’s on December 13th after the 10:15 service.

Please bring a light dish to share and a wrapped $10 gift. If you wish to exchange cookies, please bring 5 dozen with a container in which to place the exchanged cookies.

The next Episcopal Church Women meeting is August 5 at 7:00 pm in Upper Laird.

All ladies in the congregation are members of ECW, so please come and join us. We would love to have you!

The ECW Board thanks you for the huge outpouring of donations on Mother’s Day Sunday. They collected enough donations to fill 35 boxes with children’s clothing, toys, books along with cribs, car seats, and strollers.

Because of your geneorsity many families in need will be touched by your giving.

Many thanks to all those who participated in the Garden clean up effort on Saturday, May 30. The 15 or so people who turned out were able to free the columbarium and parking lot islands of weeds and spread new mulch. It all looks great!
Thanks also to the ECW for providing a welcome lunch for the workers.

April showers have brought not only flowers but also weeds to the Gardens and Columbarium at St. Martin’s. Saturday, May 30th has been designated Lawn & Garden Day.

Work begins at 8:30 am. Come for an hour or come for the morning. Bring your gloves, weed-popper, hoe, rake and anything else that might be handy for cleaning out the parking lot islands, flower beds, garden and columbarium. Mulch will be on hand to spread after all the weeds are gone.

Lunch will be provided courtesy of the ECW. So they will know how much food will be needed, please sign up in Park Hall or email jtheiss@stmartinschurch.org to let us know you will be coming.

Fourteen women of St. Martin’s gathered at Mary Pomeroy’s home on December 3, 2008 to usher in the Christmas Holiday.

Episcopal Church Women will have a booth at Ballwin Days on June 28 and 29. They will be selling watermelon slices and fresh fruit, providing carnival enthusiasts a healthy alternatives. Additionally, this will get St. Martin’s name out in the community! Read the rest of this entry »
