Register Now for ECW Annual Meeting in Chesterfield

The Episcopal Church Women’s 2013 Province V Annual Meeting will be April 4-7 at the Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield. The deadline for hotel and meeting reservations is Monday, March 11th. One-day only registration and banquet-only registration is available for “locals.”

Called “Gather Us Together,” this meeting includes a keynote by the President of the House of Deputies, the Rev. Gay Jennings, as well as workshops and worship.

You do not have to be a member of an ECW unit to attend this meeting; all women in the Episcopal Church are welcome.

Two dozen groups at 2011 Ministry Fair

Representatives from two dozen groups at St. Martin’s assembled on Sunday to wave the flag for their ministries. Those ministries ranged from evangelism to the Episcopal Church Women, from Episcopal City Mission to the bell-ringers and other music ministries.

The fair is an annual tradition at St. Martin’s giving parishioners a chance to see the many ways they can get involved in the parish and the surrounding community.

Stewardship committee co-chair Jeff Klieve coordinated the 2011 event, commenting at the later service about how gratifying it was to see so many representatives of so many ministries participating in the Ministry Fair.
