The Search Committee has begun meeting regularly under the co-leadership of Heidi Gioia and Erv Heyde. The committee will be working closely with The Rev. Dan Smith, Canon to the Ordinary and Deployment Officer for the Diocese of Missouri. Twelve St. Martin’s members have accepted invitations to serve as the Rector Search Committee. They are Carole Clary, Elin Cogan-Adewunmi, Heidi Gioia, Kurt Greenbaum, Jack Hanley, Diana Hauser, Erv Heyde, Bob Huheey, and Tim Ware. The three vestry representatives on the committee are Jeanne King, John Lange and Ed Hamm. The committee co-chairs are Heyde and Gioia.
The committee will begin its work June 17 with a training session, conducted by The Rev. Canon Dan Smith of the Bishop’s Office. Continue reading »
