The Rev. Jon Hall, Rector
The Rev. Jon Hall became rector of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church on Feb. 1, 2010. He was previously rector of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Harrodsburg, Ky., where he was also priest-in-charge and deacon. Father Hall graduated from the Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky., as a Methodist and, after being received into the Episcopal Church, he earned his Diploma of Anglican Studies in 2005 from The General Theological Seminary in New York. “Discipleship rolls its sleeves up and gets dirty at times,” Father Hall says. “And that’s when our faith really matters. When we think we’re out of our own faculties, that’s where faith starts. Church at its best is kind of a beautiful mess. It’s a creative process.”
