Church members, family and friends filled the pews Wednesday, Aug. 25 for a Celebration of New Ministry. The ceremony officially makes Fr. Jon Hall the third rector of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. (Please see pictures from the celebration below.)
Bishop Wayne Smith led the Eucharist service, which was attended by about a dozen other clergy and deacons from our area. Following the service, the crowd enjoyed a fabulous Louisiana-style reception in Park Hall.
Thanks to the hospitality committee for coordinating the reception, the facilities committee for the sanctuary redesign, Fr. Jon and Colleen Hall for providing the great band, and the countless others who worked so hard to make this evening such a great success!
