A Letter to the Parish

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I want to let you know that I am excited about starting this Sunday and look forward to meeting you at either the 8a.m. or 10:15a.m. service. I thank the whole congregation for your prayers for me and my family, Colleen and Abbey. We hope to see you as well at the luncheon immediately following the 10:15 service.
Please introduce yourself to us after the services or during the luncheon. I am pretty good with names but also appreciate your patience as I learn everybody’s name and connection to the parish.
As we prepare for the Sunday services I ask you to consider asking a friend to join you for this Sunday. New beginnings can be a good time to introduce someone you know to St. Martin’s. Please think about who might benefit from such an invitation.
May this Sunday be a special celebration of the good things God has done. I believe we have much to be thankful for and that this Sunday will be a grand party!
