Every month, a small group of cinema-loving adults gets together at a member’s home to watch a movie and discuss its faith connections.
This month, Popcorn Theology invites the entire parish family to come together for an evening of fellowship. Our feature will be the entertaining family film “Babe.” Join St. Martin’s Student Ministries as they host this fun event Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
“Babe” is the sweet tale of a little pig who embarks on a career in shepherding with some surprising and spectacular results. James Cromwell stars as the farmer who wins the piglet at a local fair. This charming 1995 movie was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The film runs 89 minutes and is appropriate for all age groups.
Our Popcorn Theology / Family Movie Night begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. Saint Martin’s Student Ministries will be serving pizza, popcorn and soft drinks. A $5 donation per family will be appreciated (but not mandatory) to help cover the costs of food.
Please let us know you’ll be coming by signing up at the Christian Formation Information Station in Park Hall. Or RSVP by e-mailing youth group leader Sean Parker.
See you there!
