St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

The Rev. Dan Smith, Canon to the Ordinary and the diocesan overseer of our search process, has identified four new potential candidates for Rector. He is in active conversation with the priests about St. Martin’s. He also has appointments with others next week at General Convention. Dan is continuing to develop leads and will complete the vetting on those in the next couple of weeks.

All on the Search Committee feel that finding the person that God would have lead us demands faith, courage and patience.

Psalm 27: 13-14 shows us that waiting for  God’s help has always been challenging -
I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord: be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord.
