Jan. Messages: Congregational life cycles
By St. Martin's; posted on January 1st, 2008
It’s no secret that all living things have a certain natural lifecycle. When we look at nature, we see a certain pattern of birth, life, death and then birth again and so on. Our church calendar has a natural rhythm to it. We begin a new year with the season of Advent, then comes Christmas, the Epiphany, Lent, Easter and Pentecost. It repeats every year. Congregations have life cycles, too.
Read more about how the life cycles of churches work, and why it’s important to St. Martin’s at this transition time in the January 2008 edition of the monthly Messages newsletter.
